Sabbourati · Mental math
Choose the teams, the calculations and the height of the towers.
Each team keeps its calculation until it answers correctly.
One calculation and its answer per line
Examples: 6 × 7 = 42, 36 ÷ 4 = 9 or Double 25 ; 50.
The answer must be a number. Decimals and negative numbers are accepted. Questions repeat after the last one.
Changing the questions during a game restarts it. They are kept in this browser when local storage is available.
Mental math becomes a building site: each team builds its tower.
Each team has its tower and its pad. It types its answer, then presses PLACE. In 4-choice mode, the team taps the right answer.
The calculations: addition level 1 (answers up to 20) and level 2 (numbers from 10 to 99); subtraction level 1 (numbers up to 20) and level 2 (numbers from 10 to 99, no negative answers); multiplication and division (tables from 2 to 10, exact divisions); doubles up to 50 and halves up to 100; a mix of everything. The Calculations button changes the operation during the game: each team keeps its calculation until it answers correctly. The ▤ Questions button lets you write your own questions.
With a keyboard: click a team’s name to give it the keyboard. Type the digits, then Enter. Backspace deletes a digit and Esc clears the answer. In 4-choice mode, keys 1 to 4 choose an answer.
On the whiteboard: teams can touch their pads at the same time. Every finger counts right away. The board must accept as many simultaneous touches as there are teams. If not, play with 2 teams or have the teams answer in turn.
