Shape Hunt
The fennec hunts shapes scrolling along three lanes. The instruction changes each round: tap only the squares, the right angles, the parallel lines or the true lines of symmetry. After each mistake, it explains why.

What pupils practice
- Recognize squares, rectangles, triangles, circles and rhombuses, even when turned.
- Tell acute, right and obtuse angles apart.
- Identify parallel or intersecting lines.
- Check a line of symmetry mentally.
How to play
- Choose the activity, level, speed, number of teams and rounds.
- A card shows the model and its property, then the countdown starts.
- Each round scrolls 16 tiles, 6 of them correct. You score a point for each right shape and lose one for each mistake.
- The results rank the teams and sort the mistakes: turned shapes, nearly right angles, false lines of symmetry.
In the classroom
Each team plays the round in turn while the others watch for traps. Ask them to name the trap that just caught the team at the board.
The space bar pauses the game: use it to discuss a shape on the spot.
Useful settings
- Three levels: Discovery, Practice and Expert (80° angles, nearly parallel lines).
- Three speeds: 10, 7 or 5 seconds to cross the screen.
- The game can be played in English, French, Spanish and Arabic.
